Brewed in 2023 and aged for the best part of a year in oak barrels that previously held Bourbon, this English barley wine is a warming, malt forward indulgence perfect for a winter's evening. Chewy crystal malts add a biscuity cinder toffee flavour whilst a small addition of rye gives a little peppery spice on the otherwise pleasantly fruity finish. The luxury of time in barrels has added an oaky smokiness and smoothness that rounds off the experience.
